Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Paving Stones near a tree?
There is no problem with using paving materials around trees. You should however consider leaving a 4-foot area between the tree and the Pavers.
What about water drainage off the concrete Paving Stones?
Water actually runs off the surface of the Pavers as if it were a solid slab and very little water drains into the sand. It is important to consider slope when planning your project.
How long do Paving Stones last?
There have been practical examples of Pavers lasting upwards of sixty (60) years. This is longer than normal pavements under residential / commercial use.
Will the Paving Stones be slippery?
No. The surface texture is ideal for obtaining safe traction in both pedestrian and vehicular applications, even when wet.
